About Us

A white vehicle parked in a lot under clear skies.

BPOE Lodge 1175 has been a fixture along I-27 in Plainview for decades, offering members a place to gather, give back to the community, and simply unwind. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is one of America's oldest fraternal organizations, and this lodge carries that tradition forward with a distinctly West Texas personality.

On-site, you'll find Jeff's Steakhouse, a moderately priced restaurant open to both members and the public. The kitchen turns out well-prepared plates served as they come from the grill, no fuss, no frills. The bar pours a solid mixed drink or cold beer in a fully non-smoking environment, which regulars genuinely appreciate.

The lodge operates as a private club, but the dining room welcomes anyone looking for a dependable meal without the downtown drive. Reservations are accepted, though walk-ins are seated comfortably most nights.

What We Offer

Jeff's Steakhouse anchors the lodge's offerings with moderately priced cuts and plates prepared fresh in the kitchen. It's the kind of place where the food arrives hot, the portions are honest, and you don't need a special occasion to show up.

The full bar serves mixed drinks and draft beer in a clean, smoke-free setting. Lodge membership unlocks access to Elks events, community programs, charitable giving initiatives, and a broader network of over 2,000 lodges nationwide through elks.org.

The lodge also provides a private venue space for member gatherings and can accommodate reservations for larger dining parties. Whether you're a longtime Elk or a first-time visitor to the restaurant, there's a seat at the table on I-27 in Plainview.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
